Pinellas County features great planned communities that offer peace and quiet in refined settings. Here are a few of our favorites.
Placido Bayou is a gated, deed-restricted community in northeast St. Petersburg. Its array of single-family homes, condominiums, and town homes are surrounded by nearly a hundred acres of mangrove forests and preserve lands, and dotted with lakes teeming with turtles, otters, ducks – and the community’s pair of swans, Bridgette and Reginald. The Placido Bayou community is just a few blocks from the Mangrove Bay golf course, and just 10 minutes from Downtown St Pete.
Caya Costa is a waterfront gated community also in northeast St. Pete. The tight-knit community features lots of events, a community pool, and low resident turnover. Its location offers good access to Tampa and the Tampa International Airport, as well as Downtown St. Pete. Most properties in Caya Costa have a waterfront view – either one of the inland lakes or of the peaceful waters leading to Tampa Bay and Weedon Island Nature Preserve.
Brighton Bay is one of St Pete’s newest planned communities featuring single family homes and townhomes surrounding a large lake. It’s location in northeast St Pete making it the perfect location for commuters to Tampa and downtown St Pete. With sidewalks throughout the neighborhood and amenities of tennis, pool and playground it’s a great place for any family.
The Bayou Club is a premier inland gated community northwest of St. Petersburg. Offering a country club experience community surrounding a Tom Fazio-signature designed golf course. Just minutes from the Gulf of Mexico and Tampa and Tampa Airport, its central location and prestigious estate style homes located in a scenic natural environment are of great appeal.
